| Denise M. Sheffer has been a professional photographer doing outdoor on-location portraits since 1993. She studied Fine Art and Photography at the University of Louisville in Kentucky where she learned composition, developing, printing, and how to experiment with manipulating the image in the darkroom as well as in camera. She also studied art and photography a summer in Paris and Arles, France.
Upon graduation she fulfilled a dream of living in the mountains and moved to Winter Park where she got her start with the Sharpshooter Corporation. They taught her more about composing different size groups of people in a fun, scenic atmosphere on top of the ski area. Later she also worked for Photomanics shooting weddings, family reunions, and action shots like white water rafting and ski racing.
Heirloom Imagery Portrait Photography was established in 1999 and has been growing and capturing beautiful occasions in Grand County ever since. |
